The lot is open to everyone, not just Worth residents. Tickets for the train must be purchased on the train. There is no attendant in the train station.

  • Permits are obtained at the village hall. You may sign up the same day as your garage sale. You are allowed 2 garage sales per year. The first one is free and the second is $5.00. You may advertise on private property only, with the owners permission. Do not attach signs to any poles.

  • Running At Large: No person shall allow or permit any dog or cat to run at large upon any street, sidewalk, alley, parkway or other public place or on private property other than owner's or keeper's private property within the limits of the village at any time. Any dog or cat found upon any public street, sidewalk, alley, parkway or any unenclosed place shall be deemed running at large and shall constitute prima facie evidence of the owner's or keeper's consent thereto unless the dog or cat is firmly held on a leash which shall not exceed eight feet (8') in length.

  • Plastic bags and film can't be recycled in the toter. This material can be recycled at the recycle depot on Industrial Way or at most large grocery stores. Be sure plastic bags are clean.

  • Place shredded paper in a paper bag or cereal box before putting in the toter. This keeps shreds contained so that they will not fly around when the toter is emptied, but allows them to be sorted at the material recovery facility.
