No more than 3 dogs (not including service dogs) and 6 cats in a single family residence. No more than 1 dog (not including service dogs) and 2 cats in an apartment or condo.

Noisy Animals: No person shall permit or allow his pet or animal to disturb the peace and quiet of others. Any animal noise which continues for a period of three (3) minutes or longer and occurs more than two (2) times during any one hour period shall be deemed disturbing others. (Ord. 84-11, 6-26-1984)

Running At Large: No person shall allow or permit any dog or cat to run at large upon any street, sidewalk, alley, parkway or other public place or on private property other than owner's or keeper's private property within the limits of the village at any time. Any dog or cat found upon any public street, sidewalk, alley, parkway or any unenclosed place shall be deemed running at large and shall constitute prima facie evidence of the owner's or keeper's consent thereto unless the dog or cat is firmly held on a leash which shall not exceed eight feet (8') in length.

Dog owners are responsible for the removal of any excrement deposited by their animal from any public or private property.
